The AR-7030 is designed to take optional Collins filters, but crystal filters have much better shape factors than mechanical filters and will improve the selectivity of the radio. Since the crystal filters are much larger and will not fit in the sockets, they must installed using the FL124 daughter board, available from AOR. Your crystal filter choices for the radio are:
